The stage is set, the contestants are geared up, the cameras are rolling, and Last Flag’s Open Beta is officially live! From now until March 2, players across Steam are welcome to dive into our free PC demo to swipe the flag, steal the spotlight, and bring home the glory for their teams. Read on to learn everything you need to know.

What’s Included in the Beta?

During Beta, you will be competing for the flag on our first map, called Copper Falls, and can start getting to know all nine of the contestants we’ve released so far. Learn the ropes in the tutorial, beat up on bots in an Audition Match, square off against other players in Quickmatch, or set up a custom lobby with your friends. Along the way, you can earn a wide variety of free cosmetic items just by playing, as well as participate in community events on our Discord server.

Snatch Rewards for Your Collection

As a refresher, we’ve got three phases of free, permanent in-game rewards lined up for you. Now until February 16, you can earn a special Player Icon for your profile just by logging in to Last Flag. From February 12 – 24, you can log back in to pick up a Lunar New Year themed Execute Animation and Player Icon. The main event begins February 23, which is when you can start unlocking lots of new items by earning XP from your Last Flag matches and leveling up your account.

Contestant Skins, Emote Animations, Execute Animations, Player Icons. . . Everything you earn over the next three weeks is yours to keep. But these items are only available for a limited time, and they can’t be earned after Beta concludes. Be sure to grab as many as you can before March 2. Join the Open Beta Festivities

To celebrate this milestone for the game, we’re planning to host a broad array of activities for the community in the official Last Flag Discord server. From “Beat the Devs” matches that net you the coveted “Dev Destroyer” server role, to Q&As and hangouts with Night Street staff, and even a chance to win a digital Steam gift card by submitting your Last Flag-inspired art, closet cosplays, or clips of your epic plays. There’s something for everyone in the weeks ahead, so come visit us on Discord and join the party!
