Launch is just around the corner on April 14, and today we’re excited to share an explosive new song with you, written by one of our more… mysterious contestants. We’ve also included information about Last Flag’s release, including launch timing, what’s included with each edition, and how you can save a few bucks with our launch discount. And in case you missed it previously, you can also catch a reminder about upcoming content that we plan to bring to the game for free this Summer.

New Music Video: Blood of My Blood

Alejandro. . . He’s the guitar-slinging, rifle-wielding contestant who’s the most-likely culprit behind the explosion that blew up your team in overtime. Most call him by his stage name, “Tango,” but what else do we really know about this brooding man in all black? Maybe he’ll open up a bit more if we can convince him to strum that guitar of his.

Check out our new music video, starring Tango, called "Blood of My Blood" here.

Two Ways to Make Your Debut at Launch

Last Flag is set to hit the big stage for PC players on April 14, starting at 10:00 a.m. PDT (17:00 UTC). When the curtain rises and the cameras start rolling, we’ve got two options for you to make a big splash with Last Flag audiences around the world, both of which will be 20% off for a limited time.

From April 14 - 21, you can pick up the Standard Edition for $11.99 (base price: $14.99).  For just a few dollars more, you can swipe the Supporter Edition, which includes the killer original soundtrack (10 songs + 12 bonus tracks) and a bucket of goodies like exclusive new skins, victory poses, a finisher animation, and sweet dance moves. Here’s the breakdown:

Like the vibe of the game, we’re keeping it retro with a one-time price. With either edition, you will gain access to the entire game, including both the Copper Falls and Snowfield maps, 9 unique contestants, and 200+ cosmetic items you can unlock just by playing.

We've also got new maps, new contestants, and even new modes already in the works that will be added to the game for free in future updates. In fact, our third map and tenth contestant are almost ready for primetime, and we expect both will bring unique twists to the Last Flag formula. We can't wait for you to try them out this Summer.

Free Content Updates this Summer, and Beyond

We’re gearing up for release in less than two weeks, but as mentioned above, we’re already hard at work implementing exciting new features and improvements that we plan to bring to the game in free updates over the months to come.

This Summer, we’ve got two major patches planned that will introduce a variety of content to the game, including:

  • A lush new map that will take Last Flag’s cast to a location that’s brimming with greenery and mysterious energy. (You might even want to keep an eye out for more clues about this map in the coming days.)

  • A vibrant new contestant, who we’re confident will glide into audiences’ hearts and minds around the world.

  • A new game mode that still has its roots in capture-the-flag, but will bring an exciting new way to experience Last Flag.

  • Lots of new cosmetic rewards you will earn as you play, like skins, finishers, emotes, and more.

We hope you’re as excited as we are to dive into Quick Match when Last Flag goes live on April 14 at 10:00 a.m. PDT! Be sure to check back next week for news about how you can earn even more in-game rewards by watching your favorite broadcasters on Twitch. See you then!
